From 2009 onwards, Made By Katie Green will distinguish work created and professional projects facilitated by choreographer Katie Green.

Made By Katie Green is a new identity that allows for the diversity of Katie Green's projects, recognising that her work encompasses more than dance, continuing and expanding upon her collaborations with theatre practitioners, composers, photographers and designers. [Full press release]

Within Made By Katie Green, 'green bean dance' will continue to refer to the learning strand of Katie's work, highlighting her commitment to participation and the strength of the company's youth dance activities from primary school to vocational level.

Katie has won the St Hugh’s Fellowship for 2009

In her first three years as a professional dance artist, Katie Green has already accumulated three choreographic awards, an international nomination for a fourth, two successful Arts Council applications and an Association with a prestigious National Dance Agency. Commission for Cambridge Contemporary Dance

Lost and Found

The first piece to be Made By Katie Green will be created in May 2009 in collaboration with dancers Tim Casson, Marie Chabert, Morgan Cloud and Daniela B. Larsen. This project is being funded by Arts Council England.

Open morning classes in May 2009

We will be opening up our morning warm-up sessions to local artists in Nottingham from the 4th-8th and 11th-15th May 2009 (10-11am; 11-12 noon on Mondays) and in Lincoln from the 18th-22nd May (11-12 noon on the 18th; no class on Tuesday morning; 10-11am on the 19th-22nd). These classes will take place at the Preset Studio (3-9 Hockley, Nottingham NG1 1FH) and Lincoln Drill Hall (Freeschool Lane, Lincoln, LN2 1EY). Creative dance workshops at St Albans Town Hall
