After reading English at Cambridge University, Katie graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2006 and formed Made By Katie Green in the same year. Her work since then has been diverse, including touring work to theatres, creating large-scale commissions for particular communities and specific sites, and delivering participation projects for children and young people.

Since 2013, Katie has focused her practice on working with dance in museums, heritage sites and other extraordinary spaces. She has toured her 'dancing tour guides' piece to more than 80 museums across the UK through the Dancing in Museums project, her Dancing in Caves project to 6 caves and underground sites from 2017-18, and toured her promenade work for libraries, The Story Detectives to 19 libraries across the SE and SW of England from 2022-23. She received a Developing Your Creative Practice grant in 2023 to research her new project 'A Gathering Place', responding choreographically to archaeology and the archaeological process.

Katie often works in partnership with other organisations to deliver multi-faceted projects responding to particular sites, collections and historical stories. She has created new work with young people for the British Museum, Ipswich Museum, worked on the Surrey Arts commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta, created a promenade work for the bicentenary of Dulwich Picture Gallery with curator Helen Hillyard in 2017 and a solo work for Bastian London in response to their exhibition of sculpture by Dan Flavin (2019-2020). Her Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400 project toured to heritage sites, schools and community centres in Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Plymouth between 2018 and 2021, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower from Plymouth to America in 1620.

As well as directing Made By Katie Green, Katie manages the developing Imagination Museum dance/heritage network and works as a freelance choreographer and teacher/mentor, most recently working with the University of Winchester to create choreography for the third year dance students responding to Winchester City Museum (2022). From 2011-2022 she was a Trustee and then the Chair of the St Hugh's Foundation for the Arts for 8 years. She performed with Cie. Willi Dorner (Austria) from 2011-14 and with UK-based collective Casson & Friends from 2013-15 as part of the Selling Secrets project. 

Vicky Thornton is a Producer and Executive Director with 22 years’ experience specialising in supporting dance artists to realise their creative ambitions through creating and touring productions, events and festivals, producing short films, programming screen-based festivals and outdoor events, large-scale and small scale community projects and specialising in creative entrepreneurship and business development of cultural organisations.

Alongside Clearcut, Vicky is Executive Director of ZoieLogic Dance Theatre and was previously Programme Producer, Head of Screen Dance and Acting CEO at South East Dance and a Visiting Lecturer at University of Winchester teaching Creative Entrepreneurship and is a Founder/Trustee of The Ellie Thornton Foundation.

Katie is a performer, teacher and maker based in Birmingham. She has had the pleasure of performing with companies such as Springs Dance Company, Sonia Sabri, Highly Sprung, Autin Dance Theatre, and recently as a Featured Dancer in the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony choreographed by Corey Baker.

Katie also enjoys rehearsal directing and was Movement Associate for The Ballad of Maria Marten, a play by Beth Flintoff. Katie teaches and facilitates dance in a range of settings and is passionate about dance being for everyone. She is an Associate Artist for integrated dance company FRONTLINEdance and is an Artist in Residence at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with Eek & Wild, a company she co-founded.

Amarnah Ufuoma Cleopatra Osajivbe-Amuludun has many names, disciplines and expressions. London born with roots in Nigeria, the multi-disciplinary artist has been working with her body since the age of 5 and started her professional training as a Contemporary dancer at London Contemporary Dance School in 2010. Graduating with a first class degree, she then went onto the Post-graduate company at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Verve. Amarnah has worked across Dance, Theatre forms and with Music Artists, on stages, for T.V, Short Films, Music Videos and Gallery spaces worldwide. Collaborators and appearances include Anton Lachky, Renaud Wiser, Barrowland Ballet, Sampa the Great, 2nd Hand Dance, Made by Katie Green, Anatomical, Breach Theatre Company, Dorothy Allen-Pickard, Marriott Hotels, Live on Jools Holland, Sainsbury’s and The Guardian.

Sarah is a performer and choreographer based in London. She is Artistic Director of Moxie Brawl, a fresh all female dance theatre company. When she is not shaking or movement making, you will find her presenting on Inside Dance TV (of which she is a co-founder) and Art streaming TV. She is a Candoco Artist and is passionate about teaching. She is currently working with The People Pile, The Oasis Social Club and touring her first solo show It Started With Jason Donovan. She is excited to be joining the Imagination Museum team.

Ella is an independent dance artist and maker based in East London. Ella graduated from Trinity Laban with a First Class degree in 2016. Since graduating, Ella has enjoyed performing with Casson & Friends, Made by Katie Green, Luminelle, Springs Dance Company and Kimberley Harvey in collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospital. Ella regularly performs at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with Eek & Wild, a company she co-founded. Ella creates her own choreographic work through her company, ella&co, connecting people through her socially engaged choreographic practice. Ella teaches in a range of community settings, with inclusivity and play at the heart of her teaching practice. Ella is a lead dance artist for The Place, Sadler’s Wells and Magpie Dance for people with learning disabilities. With her work at Magpie, Ella has led choreographic collaborations with the Royal Opera House and Arts for the Disabled Association Hong Kong.

Megan trained at London Contemporary Dance School and since graduating has worked as a performer, teacher and rehearsal director both nationally and internationally.

During her performance career she has worked for choreographers James Cousins, Amir Hosseinpour, Jonathan Lunn, Scarlett Mackmin, Moxie Brawl, Peut Etre, Ffin Dance, Kate Flatt and regularly works with the company Made by Katie Green.

Megan has worked as Dance Captain and Associate Choreographer For Welsh National Opera and worked in Geneva and Poland restaging the production of William Tell. She has also danced in operas staged at The Royal Opera House.

Megan teaches at The Place for their Saturday and evening school, for Essential Alston and is currently a guest lecturer at London Contemporary Dance School. She has also taught for the CAT programmes at The Place and Dance East, for James Cousins Company, London Studio Centre and Central Ballet Associates.

Chloe is a dancer, performer, teacher and maker based in London. She splits her time performing for companies (such as Ceyda Tanc Dance, Casson & Friends & Made by Katie Green) teaching for The Royal Opera House and English National Ballet and putting her hand to costume making. She especially enjoys working with children, inspiring and engaging them into the world of art. She is very excited to be working with Katie Green on the Delight in Libraries project in 2020/21.

Alice is a dance artist, physical theatre performer, and clown. She has worked with companies and artists: Stopgap, Second Hand Dance, Casson & Friends, Spiltmilk, Highly Sprung, Barnaby Booth, Chhaya Collective, Dirtmarket, Hawk Dance Theatre and The Knotted Project.

In 2017, Alice won the Nottingham Young Creative Awards in dance. Alice thoroughly enjoys amalgamating theatre, dance and comedy, and constantly seeks new ways of exploring these forms.

Alice has been an associate lecturer in dance for the University of Chichester. She has also lectured and taught at De Montfort University, London South Bank University and Kingston University, London. Alice aims to always evolve her way of cultivating and celebrating individuality whilst teaching and creating.

Alice has collaborated with Made By Katie Green on The Imagination Museum, The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400 and A Gathering Place.

Deepraj Singh first started dancing in after school capoeira sessions at the age of 8. From there his interest in movement and musicality began to grow. He joined Bristol based youth dance company Kinesis and continued his movement exploration at Cotham School where dance was taught as part of the curriculum. Deepraj continued training via the CAT (Centre of Advanced Training) programme run in Swindon, and was on both the urban strand and contemporary strand before successfully auditioning for London Contemporary Dance School. Deepraj was awarded a scholarship whilst training at London Contemporary Dance School and graduated with a first in July 2015. After graduating he has continued working as a freelance dancer and has toured professional pieces internationally, as well as worked within large scale community settings at the National Theatre. Deepraj draws upon his street dance techniques when creating pieces, which are rhythmically explorative and emotionally driven. The use of improvisation is prominent within his work, representing the authenticity of human experience. He makes pieces that are accessible emotionally and that are available to a wide variety of audiences.

Lucy’s love for movement and invention sees her dance across the globe. She performs, teaches, and makes dance in a variety of contexts; from the stage to outdoors, in opera, video, festivals and non-traditional sites.

Her freelance performance career includes Casson & Friends, Cie. Leg, Moxie Brawl, Christopher Williams, MakeAmplify, and Rosemary Lee. Lucy is a core collaborator with About Time Dance Company, and an Occupied Associate Artist at Ludus Dance; she regularly delivers workshops, company classes, and is a guest tutor at UCLan. Lucy is currently developing her project, Into Our Skies.

A BA(Hons) graduate of London Contemporary Dance School (2009) Lucy was a member of NSCD’s Verve in 2010.

Lucy delights in dancing with Made by Katie Green, with whom she has collaborated since 2013.

Max Perryment is a multi-disciplinary neo-classical and popular music Composer and Sound Designer. He writes music and designs sound for TV, theatre, dance and commercials.

His music and sound for theatre has been heard at prestigious London theatres such as the Young Vic, The Globe, The Royal Court, Hampstead Theatre, Almeida Theatre and many other regional venues.

He has written music for feature length documentaries found on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and other platforms such as Vice, and hundreds of TV commercials and brand videos over an 11 year career.

Max is resident composer for the contemporary dance company Made By Katie Green and is a founding member of the physical theatre company Parrot {in the} Tank. He writes original scores for the comedy duo Goodbear. He has been working with Kestral Theatre Company for three years, making theatre with prisoners that has seen productions at the Royal Court Theatre.

He is a founding member of the band Escapists who have played Reading and Leeds Festival as well as supporting Manic Street Preachers and Imagine Dragons on their U.K. tours.

Anna Selby is a poet and naturalist.

Her poetry often explores our connection with water and the natural world. She works collaboratively with dancers, choreographers and conservationists, writes poetic-studies of different species in the field, directly from life, often underwater, and aims for these poems to share a sense of compassion and attentiveness to the environment.

Field Notes, her new collection, is published by Hazel Press

She is currently doing a PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University on Empathy and Plein Air Poetry, and is inspired by Deep Ecology, Animism and Gaia Theory; Rachel Carson; the Transcendentalists, and painters such as Emily Carr and Casper David Friedrich.
